I Hope You Dance CD

I Hope You Dance

I am deeply touched every time I have the opportunity to play music for someone during their last few moments of life, or during a funeral service when families are grieving and celebrating their loved one. Often, the songs I am asked to learn for a memorial have great meaning for the person and his or her family.

I Hope You Dance is a compilation of music I have performed at funeral services throughout the years, for everyone from newborns to octogenarians. It was produced in 2013 by a generous donation from the Lawrence and Ada Hickey Foundation.

JourneyCare is making this CD available at no cost. To obtain a copy free of charge, please e-mail materials@carecenter.org , or you can download a copy here.

Some have asked how they can support the work that I do at the bedside, and while the CD is not for sale, JourneyCare is a community-based non-profit organization, and always welcomes donations. To make a tax-deductible gift, please do so here. If you would like your funds to specifically support music-thanatology, you can indicate that in the notes section.

Thank you so much!
